The chief referee, Mederbek Taichiev, led the team assigned to the Round of 16 match between the Australian club "Macarthur" and the Thai "Bangkok United".
The game took place on February 19 at Campbelltown Stadium in Sydney, where Taichiev was assisted by referees Ismail Talipzhanov and Eldos Murzabekov.
The match ended in a 2:2 draw, but "Bangkok United" advanced further thanks to an aggregate score of 4:2.
