The player noted that a key moment was a video released by the club, which mocked his failed penalty. After this publication, he began receiving insults, including racist messages, which made it impossible for him to continue his career in such a toxic environment. At the same time, the team's coach, Antonio Conte, insisted that the player stay with the club.
Osimhen also confirmed that Juventus and other clubs from Serie A showed interest in him. However, the management of "Napoli" did not take active steps to organize his transfer, which forced the forward to make a decision about his future on his own.
Currently, Osimhen plays for Galatasaray. He noted that in his new team he feels confident and focused again, especially in Champions League matches, while remaining respectful to the fans of the Neapolitan club.
