The event, which is the second ranking tournament of this year, is scheduled from February 25 to March 1 in the capital city, Tirana. Participants will compete for 30 sets of medals in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling categories for both men and women.
The national team of Kyrgyzstan will be represented by 27 wrestlers.
At a similar tournament in 2025 in Albania, 32 athletes from Kyrgyzstan participated and won 9 medals: 2 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze.
