In Tajikistan, the construction of a modern Football Academy complex has begun, located in the Sirdarya microdistrict of the city of Khujand. The ceremony for laying the first stone was attended by the chairman of the Sughd region, Rajabboy Ahmadzoda, and the mayor of the city, Firdavs Sharifzoda.
The planned sports center will become one of the most modern training bases in the republic. The project includes an administrative building, two full-sized and two small football fields, as well as an indoor arena that will allow for year-round training. Additionally, a swimming pool and a modern gym will be built for the athletes.
The design of the complex is being carried out by the company "Khushofar," with the city’s capital construction management as the client. The entire project is funded by the executive body of state power in Khujand.
The new academy is intended to become an important base for training young football players and developing professional sports in the Sughd region.
