Ulan Kydyrbaev congratulated the participants at the opening of the event on the start of the competition and wished them great success and high achievements. He emphasized that such tournaments play a key role in the development of sports skills among youth and in forming a reserve for the national team.
According to the results of the tournament, athletes who take prize places (I, II, and III) will receive medals and diplomas, and will also be included in the national team of Kyrgyzstan.
The main goal of these competitions is to promote women's wrestling, improve sports skills, advocate for a healthy lifestyle, and combat drug addiction, alcoholism, and smoking. In addition, there will be a selection for the national team to participate in the Asian Championship, World Championship, and international tournaments in 2026.
On the first day of the tournament, matches are held among girls under 17 years old, competing in weight categories: 40, 43, 46, 49, 53, 57, 61, 65, 69, and 73 kg.
The final matches are scheduled for 17:00.
