As part of the event, 20 matches are scheduled, covering five Olympic weight categories: up to 57 kg, 65 kg, 74 kg, 86 kg, and 97 kg.
Each category will be represented by four wrestlers, who will first be divided into semifinal pairs. Following this, there will be matches for third place and final bouts.
Among the participants of the tournament will be Olympic champions, as well as medalists from world, European, Asian championships, and the Asian Games. The lineup is expected to include the current world champion from Japan, Yoshinosuke Aoyagi, and the 2023 world champion Rizabek Aitmukhan from Kazakhstan, along with other outstanding athletes.
In addition to the freestyle wrestling competitions, a Greco-Roman wrestling match is scheduled, featuring Akjol Mahmudov and Bulgarian Aik Mnatsakanyan.
