The Kyrgyzstan national team will compete at the Asian Games in Japan
The Summer Asian Games will be held from September 19 to October 4 in Nagoya and Aichi Prefecture.
This season, it is expected that 32 men's teams will compete in the tournament. In comparison, in 2022 in China, 21 teams competed for victory.
For Kyrgyz footballers, this will be their sixth participation in the Asian Games.

In 2010 in China, the team was unable to win any of the three matches, which prevented them from advancing from the group stage.
At the Asian Games in South Korea in 2014, the Kyrgyz team managed to reach the playoffs, surpassing the Iranian team, but in the Round of 16, they suffered a defeat against the Jordanian team in extra time.
In 2018 in Indonesia, the team again failed to advance past the group stage.
At the Asian Games in China in 2022, the team from Kyrgyzstan reached the playoffs but lost in their very first match to Korea with a crushing score of 1:5.
