According to the Asian Football Confederation, the final stage includes bids from six nations: Australia, India, Indonesia, Korea, Kuwait, as well as a joint bid from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
Previously, a bid was submitted by the United Arab Emirates, but it was withdrawn at the end of November.
The Asian Football Confederation plans to announce the host country for the tournament in 2026.
