A seminar on sports medicine and rehabilitation is taking place in Bishkek.
A seminar dedicated to sports medicine and medical rehabilitation has started in Bishkek as part of a scientific and practical conference. This was reported by the Kyrgyz Football Union.
According to the organization, seminar participants, under the careful guidance of international experts, are studying practical skills in clinical work. The focus of the sessions is on the treatment of diseases of the knee, ankle, shoulder, and elbow joints.
Essential aspects are being studied, including conducting clinical examinations, joint mobilization, restoring mobility, treating pain syndromes and swelling, as well as the functional rehabilitation of athletes after surgical interventions.
Training is conducted through the analysis of clinical cases, demonstration of modern rehabilitation methods (based on the concepts of Mulligan, Maitland, Kaltenborn, PNF, CLT), and the use of advanced physiotherapeutic equipment.
“The goal of the project is to develop functional rehabilitation based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, deepen clinical thinking, and exchange experiences among specialists in our country,” the official statement says.
Among the organizers of the seminar are the rehabilitation center "Murak," the Kyrgyz Football Union, and the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KGMA).
