Winter Olympic Games 2026: Two Athletes Will Represent Kyrgyzstan
The Kyrgyz team includes alpine skier Timur Shakirov, coached by Igor Borisov, and Arthur Saparbekov, who competes in cross-country skiing under the guidance of Alexander Levdansky.
The cross-country skiing competitions are planned to be held in Val di Fiemme, where Arthur will participate in the sprint in classic style and in the 10-kilometer race in freestyle.
As for Timur Shakirov, he will compete in the giant slalom and slalom at the Bormio ski resort.
The 2026 Winter Olympic Games will take place from February 6 to 22, while the Winter Paralympic Games will be held from March 6 to 15.
