Young Tennis Star from Bishkek Dreams of Bringing Glory to Kyrgyzstan
Saara Myzaeva, a young tennis player from Kyrgyzstan, is becoming increasingly well-known not only on her home courts but also beyond. While her peers are engrossed in gadgets, she, possessing a fragile yet strong will, hones her skills and prepares for new challenges, setting ambitious goals for herself. Despite her young age, Saara already has significant experience participating in international tournaments and numerous victories. She represents a rare type of athlete who demonstrates maturity and complete dedication to her chosen path in every action and word. In a conversation with a correspondent from VB.KG, Saara shared her thoughts on how she got into sports, who inspires her, and what she dreams of.
- I started playing tennis at the age of seven. At first, it was just a hobby, but over time I realized that I can't imagine my life without the court. My first coach taught me discipline and love for this game. Now I train daily for several hours, trying to balance it with my studies, - she says.
According to her, participating in international tournaments provides her with a unique experience.
- The level of competition on foreign courts is completely different. It toughens character. My idol in tennis is Serena Williams. I am inspired by her strength and unyielding will to win. Watching such athletes, I understand that nothing is impossible, - adds Saara.
The main goal of the young tennis player is to represent Kyrgyzstan at the most prestigious global tournaments.
- I dream of winning a Grand Slam tournament and making it into the WTA top rankings. It will take a lot of effort, and I am ready for that. Tennis is not just a sport; it is my whole life, - concluded Saara Myzaeva.
