Tyson Fury Announces His Return to Boxing
37-year-old Tyson Fury, known as the "Gypsy King," has announced his return to the ring. His first opponent in this comeback will be Arslanbek Makhmudov, with whom he will meet on April 11 in the United Kingdom.
Fury paused his career a year ago after two consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk, but he is now ready to return to the world of boxing. This year, he plans to have three fights and is currently undergoing a training camp in Thailand.
The bout against Makhmudov will be Fury's first appearance on home soil since 2022, when he won against Derek Chisora. The fight will be available for viewing on the Netflix platform.
Fury's return has reignited discussions about major fights in the heavyweight division, including potential matchups with Anthony Joshua and WBO champion Fabio Wardley.
