This season, 16 teams will compete for the championship title: 14 participants from the previous season and two new clubs — "Toktogul" from the eponymous district and "Asia" from Talas.
It is worth noting that in 2025, the championship was won by the Premier League newcomer "Bars" from Karakol, while the Cup of the country was claimed by "Dordoi" from the capital, Bishkek.
