The list of athletes was published by the Center for Sports Training of the Russian national teams, which confirmed that the International Olympic Committee has allowed 13 Russian athletes who have earned licenses to participate in the Games.
For comparison, the smallest number of Russian participants was observed only at the 1908 Summer Olympics in London, where only six athletes from the Russian Empire competed, as noted by the publication "Sports".
The 2026 Winter Olympics will take place from February 6 to 22 in Milan and at the ski resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo. Athletes from Russia will compete under a neutral status.
