Kyrgyz UFC light heavyweight fighter Uran Satybaldiev is forced to withdraw from the upcoming tournament due to a serious injury. During the final sparring session, he suffered a ligament tear in his left knee, as reported by the athlete's coach Tynchtykbek Omurzakov.

According to Omurzakov, the UFC will cover the costs of the surgery, which will take place in the near future. Currently, Satybaldiev is in Las Vegas, where the surgical intervention will be performed.

“Recovery is expected to take about four months. After the surgery, when he finds it easier to move, he will return to Kyrgyzstan,” the coach added.

Satybaldiev's next fight was scheduled for February 8, where he was set to face American Julius Walker (record 7–1) at the UFC Fight Night tournament in Las Vegas.
