At the regatta in Malaysia, a yacht named Dynamite, representing Kyrgyzstan, won first place in the IRC-2 division. This information was posted on the official website of the competition.

Participants noted that this event is one of the most significant in the world of sailing in Southeast Asia. This year, more than 35 crews from various countries participated in the competition, including Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, China, Japan, Australia, and the United Kingdom. This is the second time that a team under the flag of Kyrgyzstan has participated in this regatta.

This season, the team competed on the yacht Dynamite in the IRC-2 division. The races took place in the waters of the Langkawi archipelago, where the conditions for sailing were quite challenging and the competition was fierce.

After ten races, including one long Coastal Race around the Island, the "Dynamite" team secured first place in their division. The team included three citizens of Kyrgyzstan: captain Maxim Lisun, helmsman Kirill Sakharcev, and Olga Shevtsova, representing "Forest Club." "This is further confirmation that Kyrgyzstan is capable of participating in international regattas and achieving success," the team members shared.
