According to him, a pawnshop located in the capital or a large city requires significant investments and works with more expensive assets, which justifies a higher patent rate. In contrast, pawnshops in regions such as Batken, Jalal-Abad, or rural areas have lower turnover and income. "The size of the patent rate takes into account the economic potential of each specific region," Mambetov added.
As an example, he noted: "The patent rate for a pawnshop in Karakol can vary from 6,000 to 8,000 soms per month, while in the center of the capital it can reach 20,000 soms. Additionally, the rate also depends on the area occupied by the pawnshop and the number of its branches. For each branch, the rate is calculated individually, taking into account its size and location."
Mambetov emphasized that all pawnshops pay taxes in accordance with the conditions of their location and the nature of their economic activity.
