Dillon Danis received an offer for a grappling match with a promising UFC fighter
This proposal is the result of an incident that occurred at UFC 322 in November of last year, which led to Danis receiving a lifetime ban from the UFC and hindered his return to mixed martial arts due to issues with medical clearance. He now has the opportunity to compete in a grappling match against Zainukov, a promising UFC fighter and associate of Islam Makhachev.
The match, organized by Hype Fighting Championship, is planned to take place on neutral ground in Armenia and promises "record payouts for grappling." The fight will attempt to resolve the escalating conflict between Danis and Zainukov, who is better known to fans by the nickname "John Pork."
Previously, Hype FC aimed to organize memorable bouts, including a grappling match between actor Tom Hardy and Arman Tsarukyan, which, however, did not take place due to Hardy's commitments to filming.
For 32-year-old Danis, this proposal is a chance to remain active in the fight scene despite the restrictions imposed on his UFC career and recent setbacks.
