Young chess player from Talas Akzhol Zhenishbekov won silver at the Kyrgyzstan Championship

A young chess player from Talas, Akzhol Zhenishbekov, won a silver medal at the national chess championship. This was reported by his coach, Kanat Subanov.

The competition took place in Bishkek from January 3 to 9 and was organized for children and teenagers.

“Akzhol, representing the Talas region in the under-6 category, demonstrated outstanding play, scoring 8 points out of 9 possible. Thus, he won silver and brilliantly defended the honor of his region,” noted K. Subanov.
