"Manchester City" signed a contract with winger Antoine Semenyo
The club "Manchester City" has announced the signing of a contract with 26-year-old Ghanaian winger Antoine Semenyo, who previously played for "Bournemouth." The agreement is set until 2031, and the "Citizens" activated a buyout option worth £65 million, ahead of other contenders from the Premier League.
Semenyo is showing excellent results this season, with 10 goals and 3 assists, making him the league's third top scorer. He is capable of effectively playing on both flanks, which will be a valuable addition to Pep Guardiola's attacking potential, which includes players like Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Ryan Cherki, and Jérémy Doku.
Upon completing the transfer, Semenyo called the move to "City" a "privilege" and noted the club's high standards, its infrastructure, and Guardiola's work, adding that his best performances are yet to come.
The next match for "Manchester City" will be against "Exeter" in the third round of the FA Cup.
