The International Wrestling Federation (UWW) has officially granted the right to host the 2026 Asian Championship to Kyrgyzstan.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from April 6 to April 12 in the capital of the country, Bishkek.

It is worth noting that in September 2025, UWW announced that the next Asian Championship would be held in Jordan.

In early December, UWW President Nenad Lalovic visited Bishkek, after which it became known that the right to host the championship was granted to this city.

Currently, there is no information about the 2026 Asian Championship on the UWW website.

Previously, the capital of Kyrgyzstan has hosted the senior Asian Championships three times — in 2007, 2018, and 2024.
