Sezim Jumanzarova spoke about the reasons for her unsuccessful performance at the Islamic Games

The younger sister of the famous wrestler Meerim Jumanaazarova shared her thoughts on her unsuccessful performance at the Islamic Solidarity Games.

This competition took place in November 2025 in Saudi Arabia.

Sezim competed in the under 57 kg category, fought four matches, and ultimately finished in 4th place, unable to win bronze in the decisive bout.

“These Islamic Games were a real test for me, full of challenges and unforgettable moments. Due to a mistake in the application process, I was forced to compete in a different weight category. This resulted in me having to lose 6 kg in one day, which was a true challenge for both my body and spirit,” she wrote on her social media.
