The goalkeeper of the England national team and Everton club, Jordan Pickford, has become the new owner of a historic Georgian mansion in Cheshire, valued at £5.7 million. This house has hosted notable guests over the years, including members of the British royal family.

The deal was finalized in April of last year. Pickford and his wife, Megan Davison, jointly purchased the property. Previously, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, and the current King Charles III stayed here at the invitation of the previous owner, businessman Sebastian de Ferranti.

Built in 1860, the estate occupies a plot of about 2.5 acres and includes eight bedrooms, a grand hall, a wide staircase, a neoclassical portico, an indoor swimming pool, and a garage for four cars.

This acquisition significantly improved the living conditions for the goalkeeper compared to his previous home in Cheshire, which he bought in 2018 for £2.1 million.

At the age of 31, Pickford reportedly earns around £150,000 a week, remaining the first-choice goalkeeper for the England national team and having played 81 matches for the national squad.
