The visa procedures between Germany and Kyrgyzstan are becoming more accessible thanks to recent bilateral agreements. This was reported by Omurbek Tekebaev, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Germany, at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee.
He noted that since 2022, four significant documents and 24 memorandums of cooperation have been signed between the two countries.
“The German government is beginning to ease the visa application process for citizens of Kyrgyzstan. This has become possible due to active political negotiations and agreements reached. Additionally, one of the leading global certification companies, Intertek Germany, plans to enter the Kyrgyz market. They are ready to offer subsidies for their services to local farmers. If the government allocates one million dollars, certification will be provided free of charge. Currently, we urgently need international certification for the export of our products,” the ambassador added.
He also noted the growth of business relations: at the business forum organized by the German Chamber of Commerce in Berlin last year, 100 companies from Kyrgyzstan participated. A new business forum is planned for April this year, to which representatives of 35 domestic companies will be delegated.
