In particular, based on the complaint from citizens Iskakov regarding the judge of the Oktyabr District Court of Bishkek K.M.E., a disciplinary sanction in the form of a warning was imposed. As for other complaints received, including those concerning judges of the Bishkek and Osh city courts, as well as district courts, no actions were taken against them, and the request from the Prosecutor's Office of Naryn Region was also denied.
Two Key Decisions Regarding Judges
The Council of Judges also reviewed the submission from the General Prosecutor's Office regarding the possible criminal prosecution of the chairman of the Administrative Court of Osh Region S.D.S. Ultimately, consent for criminal prosecution was not granted; however, a disciplinary measure was adopted — the judge will be prematurely relieved of his position. This submission has been sent to the president.
Additionally, in another case, the Council of Judges agreed to bring to criminal responsibility the judge of the Alamudun District Court of Chui Region J.Sh.B. The materials in question relate to a case of corruption crimes, and a submission regarding the temporary suspension from office of this judge has also been sent to the president.
The work of the Council of Judges in reviewing disciplinary and criminal issues concerning members of the judicial system continues in accordance with current legislation.
