Water, Energy, and Food Security Discussed in the CSTO

An important dialogue took place at the CSTO between the organization's Secretary General Taalatbek Masadykov and the Director of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Fyodor Voitolovsky. The discussion covered a wide range of current issues related to enhancing peace and stability in the territory under the jurisdiction of the CSTO, as reported by the organization's press service.

This meeting was part of a series of events where the head of the CSTO interacts with the scientific and expert community of the member states of the organization.

During the discussions, special attention was paid to modern challenges concerning the non-military sphere, particularly issues of water, energy, and food security.

Additionally, the conversations addressed the prospects for cooperation, including the organization of an international scientific and practical conference titled "Contours of a New Architecture of Collective Security: Current Issues of Information and Analytical Partnership of the CSTO," scheduled for April 27 at MGIMO under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
