According to information provided by the Internal Affairs Department of the Naryn region, a meeting took place on March 28 between the district police department staff and local hunters. As a result of the discussions, a decision was made on joint actions to control the population of jackals inhabiting the mountainous and forested areas.
It is worth noting that local residents had previously expressed concerns about the increasing number of jackals in the nearby forests. This issue was also raised at a meeting with the regional police leadership.
