Kyrgyzstan has started printing som itself — the president declared it a 'historic day'
Sadyr Japarov, the president of Kyrgyzstan, announced an important event in the economic history of the country — the republic is now independently printing its currency, the som.

Previously, Kyrgyzstan had to order the printing of banknotes from abroad, which incurred additional financial costs. Now, the republic has reached a level that allows it not only to meet domestic needs but also to accept orders from other countries.

The president noted that Kyrgyzstan has received an international certificate confirming that the produced banknotes meet all necessary standards.

Additionally, the country has successfully organized the production of various national documents, including passports, ID cards, driver's licenses, and vehicle registration documents.

According to the head of state, the republic is ready to accept orders for the printing of not only currency but also government documents from other countries. Currently, requests have been received from several states.

He also emphasized that the level of protection of the products meets international standards, making counterfeiting nearly impossible, while the prices for services remain affordable.
