In Bishkek, an expanded meeting of the presidium of the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Workers of State and Municipal Institutions and Public Services was held. The event was attended by the Deputy Chairperson of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan, Aliza Soltonbekova, as well as representatives from various government agencies, including the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration.
During the meeting, an analysis of the implementation of sectoral agreements signed between the trade union and state institutions was conducted. Participants noted that the measures being taken contribute to the improvement of team work and the development of social partnership, as well as the protection of labor, socio-economic, and professional rights of workers.

During the reporting period, work continued to improve the training system, enhance the efficiency of labor resource utilization, and address issues related to labor protection and employee health. It was emphasized that positive changes in the conditions of remuneration for civil servants have been observed in 2022-2025, with no wage arrears arising.

Improving working conditions, preventing occupational injuries, and conducting annual medical examinations for employees remain priorities. Trade union organizations also provide financial assistance to socially vulnerable categories of citizens, ensure employees have access to sanatorium vouchers, and organize various cultural and sports events.

The meeting reviewed the results of the implementation of collective agreements for 2025 and set tasks for 2026. It was discussed that the share of activities aimed at protecting the socio-economic rights of workers has increased in these documents, and additional benefits not enshrined in legislation have been provided.

As a result of the discussion, employers were recommended to strengthen control over compliance with labor legislation and obligations under collective agreements, as well as to conduct regular safety briefings and medical examinations, strictly adhering to the norms of the Labor Code, including compensation for work on weekends and holidays.

The trade union emphasized that work to protect the rights of workers and develop social partnership will continue.
