Deputy Minister of Education Nadira Jusupbekova commented that automatic enrollment will not take place this year. This decision was related to the first stage of the transition to 12-year education, which was only in effect last year.
She added: "We will address the issues of such children on an individual basis. At the same time, we will take into account the child's age, the preparation program they completed in kindergarten, and their level of readiness. Exams will not be conducted for them. All issues will be resolved individually, and we do not plan to make changes to the current regulations."
We remind you that electronic registration for children entering the first grade will begin on April 1. Parents will be able to submit applications online at the website 1mektep.edu.gov.kg.
