37 out of 40 targeted districts participated in the competition. The selection was conducted using a rating system considering established quotas for various regions, and as a result, 15 territories were chosen to receive funding.
The allocated funds will be used to support the local economy, create and expand businesses, and generate new jobs, primarily for women, youth, and vulnerable groups of the population.
Each rural district can receive funding of up to 26 million soms.
