As reported by a Turmush correspondent, the aim of the event was to promote the historical and cultural heritage of Osh and the Sulaiman-Too mountain. The organizers emphasized the significance of the region as a key point on the Great Silk Road, which has facilitated cultural exchange for centuries.
An extensive cultural and entertainment program was developed for local residents and city guests. Visitors could see unique crafts, purchase souvenirs, and enjoy a variety of dishes from the national cuisine. The opening also featured demonstrations of national sports and folk games, as well as presentations of plans and innovations for the upcoming tourist season.
High-ranking officials from the region and city, representatives of the Osh regional branch of the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan, consuls from Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, tourism experts, cultural figures, artisans, as well as students and foreign tourists attended the event.
The musical arrangement for the celebration was provided by creative groups from the Osh Regional Philharmonic named after R. Abdykadyrov and other artistic ensembles from the city.
