He noted that in July of last year, 44 business entities were destroyed after local entrepreneurs failed to meet the vice-mayor's demand for a payment of $200,000. "We were given three days to resolve the issue. The vice-mayor suggested transferring the money to him or sending it to Jalal-Abad. Unable to find such funds, we lost all our trading points. 80 people filed complaints with the prosecutor's office, but not a single appeal was considered," Idyrysov added.
Mayor Akayev noted that Idyrysov's complaint was forwarded to the president. "Despite numerous appeals to the prosecutor's office, they were not addressed. I demand explanations from the prosecutor's office. If the information is confirmed, we will take the necessary actions in accordance with the law. We must stop the practice of extortion and provide support to entrepreneurs," he emphasized.
