Young poet Yskat Zholochiev, who began his creative journey in childhood, has already written nearly thirty poems that have gained recognition among readers.

He believes that poetry reflects a person's inner world, represents the mystery of the soul, and serves as a mirror of life. His works noticeably convey sincerity, purity of emotions, and hope, making them particularly appealing. A native of the village of Ak-Bulun, located in the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region, Yskat Zholochiev continues to inspire many.

In an interview with a Turmush correspondent, the poet shared his thoughts on creativity.

Yskat Samatovich Zholochiev was born on November 7, 2008. He is currently studying in the 11th grade at the Temirkasy Asanbaev school located in the village of Shakhta-Zhyrgalan. His creative talents manifested in early childhood, and since the seventh grade, he has become seriously passionate about poetry.

The first poem written by Yskat was dedicated to the beauty of Kyrgyz girls. Since then, he has created numerous works on themes of romance, upbringing, and patriotism. "I strive to awaken in readers a sense of patriotism, love for their homeland, and the ability to appreciate it. It is important for me to convey the value of true love and loyalty, as well as to preserve noble human qualities," shares the young poet.

The name "Yskat" has Arabic roots, symbolizing "grace," "goodness," and "mercy." "My grandfather named me this, infusing it with his good wishes. I strive to live up to his hopes and become a poet who brings joy and light to people," he noted.

At present, Yskat has more than thirty poems in his creative arsenal. He actively shares his works on social media, receiving positive feedback from readers. His pieces, such as "Ch.Aitmatov," "One Step," "Time," "Light," "When Poets Cry," "My Village," "I Lost Myself," "It Won't Happen Again," "Pure Thoughts," and others, are regularly published in newspapers, allowing them to reach a wide audience.

Among his works, special attention is drawn to the poem "Menin Aiylym" ("My Village"), which describes the beautiful nature of Shakhta-Zhyrgalan, its clean air, and melodious mountain streams. Yskat admits that he poured all the warmth of his heart into these lines.

In addition to poetry, Yskat is also interested in national heritage, especially the storytelling of the epic "Manas." He actively participates in manaschy competitions at the school and district levels and has repeatedly received certificates and awards. He draws inspiration from the works of great writers. "My idols in poetry are Elmirek Imanaliev, and in literature — Chyngyz Aitmatov. These figures are for me the peaks of Ala-Too in the world of creativity. I dream of becoming a writer known not only in Kyrgyzstan but also beyond its borders," he added.

For Yskat, school is not just an educational institution but the foundation of his creative development. "School for me is like a pen with which I write poems. Without a pen, there would be no lines, and without school, there would be no knowledge and ability to create," he said.

The young poet advised his peers: "Do not stray from your goals and write sincerely. Convey the truth and your true feelings in a simple and understandable language. Only then will your words be able to reach the hearts of readers."
"Menin Aiylym"

My roots are in the land of my ancestors

A famous golden village

Created just for me

You are my happiness

Cradling me in your embrace

You became my cradle, my village

Welcoming me with joy

You became my family, my village

Pouring endless kindness

You became my parents, my village

My prosperous pearl

You became my paradise

My village

Surrounded by mountains

Covered with fir and birch

Even though it is far from the city

My village is Zhyrgalan

Winter and summer never cease

From the flowing waters of the stream

No matter how cold it is

It never loses its beauty

Its mountains are cloaked in green

Fir trees cover everything

Even though there are many fir trees

They have planted poplars

Black gold has emerged

With pure air, life is joyful

Even if the money is scarce

Abundance is rich in unity
