Key figures present at the meeting included Philippe Amon, Chairman of the Board and CEO of SICPA SA, as well as Jean-Philippe Godin, Director of Strategic Development. During the event, important aspects of cooperation between the State Tax Service and SICPA SA were discussed.
The main goal of the meeting was to discuss the implementation of a traceability system for gold extraction and related minerals, which will be adapted to the specific features of the Kyrgyz Republic. This will improve the operations of artisanal mines, optimize the sampling process, control the gold and ore supply chain, and combat the illegal trade of gold and gold products.
Philippe Amon, CEO of SICPA SA, expressed support for the State Tax Service's initiative to implement a monitoring system in the gold mining sector, highlighting the importance of this meeting.
According to him, the successful implementation of this system will create a solid foundation for future joint projects and expand cooperation, including the introduction of similar solutions for other types of minerals.
