The Osh City Hall has announced plans to create a green zone that will include sidewalks and bike paths on the site of the existing market by the Ak-Buura River.
The market will be demolished.
Mayor Janarbek Akayev inspected the progress of the work and emphasized that the new area should become attractive for tourists and turn into one of the historical landmarks of the city.
