In the village of Dostuk, which has a population of 2,559 and is located on the outskirts of the capital, the construction of a new school has begun at the direction of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov. This project is being financed from the republican budget.
According to the Ministry of Construction, the new school will be a modern three-story building consisting of five blocks. Inside, there will be classrooms, workshops, a computer lab, an assembly hall, a library, a cafeteria, and a gym.
It is important to note that a water body previously existed on the site of the future school, which complicated the construction. To strengthen the foundation, 10,884 m³ of gravel was used, laid to a depth of up to 3 meters, and nine stages of layer-by-layer compaction were carried out, ensuring the reliability and safety of the new building.
Once construction is completed, the school will be able to accommodate more than a thousand students. Currently, children from Dostuk are studying at school No. 54.
