
The head of the October district administration, Zhanibek Orozaliev, opened the official part of the event, emphasizing the importance of preserving cultural traditions and strengthening societal unity.
According to him, "Nowruz is a symbol of the renewal of nature, motherhood, and happiness. This holiday has become a nationwide celebration and embodies unity and revival," he stressed.
Renat Aitimbetov, deputy director of the regional office, noted that the joint celebration of Nowruz symbolizes a strong partnership. "We sincerely congratulate you on this bright holiday of spring and renewal. For the second year in a row, we are celebrating it together, which underscores our strong friendship and mutual respect. Such events contribute to the unification of people and the strengthening of ties, creating an atmosphere of unity. I hope this tradition will continue," he added.
The atmosphere in the park was filled with joy. Guests were presented with themed yurts: "Eurasia," "Friendship of Peoples," and a craftspeople's yurt. In the "Eurasia" yurt, visitors could learn about the projects and initiatives implemented by the organization in Kyrgyzstan.
In the "Friendship of Peoples" yurt, cultural performances took place, including songs and dances showcasing the diversity of the traditions of the peoples of Eurasia. In the craftspeople's yurt, guests had the opportunity to participate in workshops and create their own folk art pieces.
Among the honored guests of the event were Deputy Mayor Azamat Kadyrov, head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kyrgyzstan Albert Zulkharnayev, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh Gulya Kozhokulova and Dastan Bekeshev, as well as Vice-Speaker Bolot Ibraimov and representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic's Management Service.
The traditional dish sumolok, symbolizing abundance and revival, also became a central element of the celebration. It is prepared the evening before Nowruz, using sprouted wheat, flour, and oil, and the process takes a whole day. Volunteers from "Eurasia" treated everyone who wished to try this delicacy.
The festival program was rich: popular ensembles and creative groups performed, and workshops on drawing were organized for children. The kids could use their imagination to create bright drawings on the theme of Nowruz.
Competitions in national sports, including tug-of-war, belt wrestling, and stone throwing, were also held for the guests.
In an atmosphere of unity and respect for national traditions, the celebration brought together the residents and guests of the capital.
