She noted that among taxi drivers there are citizens of India and Pakistan, which creates difficulties for Kyrgyz citizens who do not speak foreign languages.
“Many young and adult people using taxi services cannot understand the drivers. Before hiring them, it is necessary to assess their proficiency in Russian and Kyrgyz. This requirement should be included in the licensing rules,” she addressed the government representatives.
It is also worth reminding that starting from July 1, those without the appropriate license will not be allowed to work in taxis.
