Mufti: Eid al-Fitr is a Blessed Gift from the Almighty for the Believers
The head of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, Abduaziz Kary Zakirov, expressed his congratulations to all Kyrgyz citizens on the occasion of the holiday of Orozo Ait.
“Dear brothers and sisters in faith, esteemed compatriots! From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate you on this sacred holiday of Orozo Ait!”
“We express our endless gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting us the opportunity to celebrate this majestic holiday of Ait,” he added.
“Dear believers! Dear compatriots!”
“The sacred Orozo Ait is a mercy bestowed upon us by Almighty Allah. Although we feel sadness at the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, the upcoming holiday brings joy and peace to our hearts,” noted the mufti.
“The month of Ramadan has become a time of great opportunities for receiving mercy and forgiveness from the Creator. Fasting is a form of worship that strengthens our morality and purity of faith. This blessed fast enriches our spiritual world, teaching us patience, resilience, and the ability to control our passions,” he emphasized.
“Yesterday we eagerly awaited the month of Ramadan, and today we part with it with a slight sadness. Throughout the month, we practiced worship, observed fasting, and sought the pleasure of Allah. Each of us has drawn important lessons from this great teacher—Ramadan, and now we must embody them in our lives. This sacred month taught us to appreciate hunger and understand the needs of those in distress,” he continued.
“The Almighty knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows what is beneficial for us and what is harmful. Therefore, let us listen to His words and follow His guidance,” Zakirov urged.
“The two main holidays of Ait in Islam unite everyone: the young and the old, the rich and the poor. During these festive days, believers should show love, care, and respect for one another. Orozo Ait is an honor and a mercy for those who have realized the value of Ramadan and spent it in worship. The deeper we understand the essence of the Ait holidays, the more righteous our lives will become,” he noted.
“During the holiday and throughout the year, let us hold ourselves accountable and reflect on our actions. Visit your loved ones with congratulations, give gifts, strengthening the bonds of brotherhood among Muslims. Let us be a comfort to those in need of support. The holiday of Ait should bring joy and true happiness to all of us,” the mufti added.
“Dear brothers and sisters! May Almighty Allah accept the fast of each of us, forgive our sins, and accept our worship. May peace, unity, and harmony reign in our people and our country, and may joy and happiness prevail in every family!”
“I pray to the Almighty for the well-being of every faithful servant in both worlds. Endless praise be to Him for granting us the opportunity to spend the days of Ramadan in fasting and the nights in prayers. May peace and prosperity always accompany our people and our homeland,” he concluded.
“May the upcoming holiday of Orozo Ait be blessed!”
