“We will announce the exact date later. At the moment, work is underway to update the system, but the main logic will remain the same: first, enrollment will occur based on residency, and then each parent will be able to choose any school for their child across the country,” she noted.
We remind you that in recent years, the process of enrolling in the first grade has been conducted in an online format.
In 2025, enrollment based on residency began at the end of March, and from June 2, it was based on the actual place of residence. Officials promised to start electronic registration in schools earlier.
“Last year, we faced system overload for several hours due to the large number of parents registering their children. To avoid such a situation next year, we plan to start electronic enrollment in schools as early as October. In some countries, when a child is born, it is immediately determined which kindergarten and school they will attend. We can also implement a similar system,” Lira Samykbaeva added this summer.
