On March 12, 2026, an outstanding event occurred at the Osh Interregional United Clinical Hospital — a woman gave birth to quadruplets via cesarean section. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
According to the agency, a 26-year-old resident of the Dөbө-Korgon rural district, located in the Aravan district of the Osh region, was hospitalized at 32 weeks of pregnancy due to the risk of premature birth. This is her first experience of motherhood.
The weights of the newborns were: girl — 1830 g, boy — 1815 g, girl — 1520 g, and another girl — 1500 g.
The director of the Osh Interregional United Clinical Hospital, Atabek Jumaliev, reported that the condition of the mother and all the newborns is currently stable and satisfactory.
It is planned that the discharge will take place on March 23.
