Liu Jiangping: Major Powers Should Not Strike Other Countries Militarily
According to Liu Jiangping, the modern era is marked by rapid changes that have no precedent in the last century.
“Reform and challenges intersect, and regional conflicts are escalating. The recent military strikes by the U.S. and Israel against Iran are a conflict that should not exist and will not benefit either side,” she noted.
The ambassador emphasized that relying on military superiority is unacceptable, and that the world should not return to the “law of the jungle,” according to Liu Jiangping.
She also added that China, as a responsible country, will actively defend its sovereign rights, security, and development interests, as well as firmly uphold international law, justice, and fairness.
“The PRC will oppose any unilateral policies, coercive approaches, and hegemony, strictly adhering to international obligations and taking a constructive position in international affairs,” she concluded.
China is ready to cooperate with countries that share similar views in order to create a community with a shared future for mankind and to promote peaceful development, cooperation, and mutual benefit.
