In Bishkek, the memory of Hungarian Turkologist István Mandok will be immortalized
The plaque will be located in the building of the National Innovative Technological School-Lyceum No. 5, named after Aydarkan Moldokulov, where the scholar spent time during his research in Kyrgyzstan.
The message notes that István Congur Mandoki is an outstanding figure in the field of Turkology and Kipchak studies. His achievements in science and his contribution to the development of relations between Hungary and Central Asia are truly invaluable. The scholar dedicated most of his life to travels and expeditions, studying the history and culture of both Hungarians and Turkic peoples.
