
The congress, which was held in accordance with the Law on Mediation, was a key event for the creation of the Chamber. Founding documents were approved, and governing bodies were formed. The organizing committee, established by the Ministry of Justice in December 2025, was responsible for preparing this important event, including discussions of document drafts with participants in advance.

One of the main topics of discussion was the idea of Kyrgyzstan joining the Singapore Convention on Mediation. Participants expressed the opinion that this would allow for the recognition of agreements reached during mediation at the international level.
This step is expected to strengthen the country's legal system and increase the trust of foreign investors by offering a more open and effective way to resolve disputes.
