In Kyrgyzstan, salaries for emergency service divers have been increased and the payment system has been updated.
According to the adopted resolution, the minimum basic salary for determining official salaries is set at 7,040 soms.
The new wage conditions also include a tariff grid for the main staff and coefficients for calculating the salaries of technical and junior support personnel.
In addition, changes have been made to the staffing structure of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The total number of employees in the agency now stands at 6,281, of which 770 hold positions in technical and support staff.
The previously enacted resolutions regarding the operations of the diving service are now null and void.
In government offices, it was emphasized that these changes are aimed at improving the wage system and enhancing the efficiency of rescue services.
The new salary system will come into effect on January 1, 2026.
