Currently, direct flights between Bishkek and China are operated by China Southern Airlines, which conducts six flights a week. The emergence of a new carrier will significantly simplify transportation links between the two countries.
In addition, the possibility of opening flights to European countries is being discussed.
For the successful implementation of these initiatives, an update of the aircraft fleet and the removal of Kyrgyzstan from the European Union's blacklist, which national airlines fell into in 2006, will be required. This will necessitate confirmation of compliance with international safety standards.

As part of the preparation for this process, in October 2025, representatives of the State Agency for Civil Aviation of the Kyrgyz Republic participated in a technical meeting with representatives of the European Commission (DG MOVE) in Brussels, where measures for the possible removal of the country from the EU aviation safety list were discussed.
