On Father's Day, the memory of Dastan Anarbekov, who died at the border, was honored in the Aitmatov district.

Yesterday, March 15, a commemorative event was held in Kyrgyzstan on the occasion of the annually celebrated Father's Day, reported Turmush correspondent.

The event was dedicated to the bright memory of Lieutenant of the Border Service Dastan Anarbekov, who died in 2021 in the Batken region during the conflict at the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.

The event, organized at Border Post No. 2029 "Satykey" named after A. Jumabekov, was attended by representatives of the elders' council, the women's council, as well as young servicemen.

The commemorative event began with the reading of the Quran and a remembrance of the deceased. Then, cultural department staff presented a concert program for the servicemen.
Dastan Anarbekov died at the age of 21 during the armed conflict in Batken. He served as the deputy commander of the "Dostuk" border post. In 2022, he died on school grounds while defending the village of Dostuk in Batken. He was buried on December 29 at the "Ata-Beyit" memorial complex in Bishkek. President Sadyr Japarov attended the farewell ceremony.

Dastan Anarbekov was buried next to the mausoleums of tankers Sherali Anarkulov, Sanjarbek Anarkulov, and Tilek Zhanibay uulu, who died during the border conflict.
