A 16-story building will be built on the site of the KNU dormitory
Deputy Bolo Saginayev asked about the possibility of similar projects for other universities in Kyrgyzstan and the sizes of land plots managed by local educational institutions.
According to the deputy minister, there are ten universities in the country that possess special rights, which opens up many opportunities for their development. He promised to clarify the information about land resources and provide it in writing.
The deputy minister also noted that the construction of a new campus for KNU serves as a good example of expanding the infrastructure of Kyrgyz educational institutions.
The construction of a 16-story building on the site of the old KNU dormitory has already been completed by one-third. The new building will include both administrative offices and classrooms for students. Overall, the deputy minister noted that Kyrgyz universities have opportunities for creating new campuses.
