Nina Khrushcheva, a well-known writer and professor of international relations, has been added to the register of "foreign agents" by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, reports Meduza.

Nina is the great-granddaughter of Nikita Khrushchev, who served as the leader of the USSR from 1953 to 1964. She has been living in the United States since 1991.

After the start of the full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine, Nina Khrushcheva expressed her condemnation of Russia's invasion.
